Hiya. I’m Kaywyne.
My Creative Compass
I’ve always been drawn to the unpredictable rhythm of making things. Creativity, for me, is less about perfection and more about curiosity — a tide that comes and goes, sometimes bringing treasure, sometimes just driftwood, but always worth watching. I follow whimsy as my North Star, trusting that joy will chart a truer course than any rigid plan.
I gather what washes ashore — scraps of yarn, forgotten toys, half-finished ideas — and I remake them into something new. My work thrives in that space between cozy and chaotic, where a mess on the table might turn into a diorama, a crocheted snack, or a playful sketch. The medium matters less than the spirit: each piece is an invitation to delight in the unexpected.
High Tide Haven, my floating creative harbor, reflects this philosophy. It is a place of open doors and open tables, where laughter, snacks, and stories are as important as stitches or brush strokes. I don’t seek to polish away every flaw or follow every trend. Instead, I endeavor to welcome imperfection as part of the map, a reminder that the best journeys rarely take a straight line.
In the end, my intent and purpose is about building a world where people feel at ease, surprised, and maybe a little inspired to explore their own tide pools of creativity. Every wave brings something worth noticing. Every mess leaves behind a trail to follow. And here, there’s always room to dock, rest, and share in the wonder of it all.
“Where the surf is chill, the snacks are hot, and the chaos is always just offshore.”
